This LightSpeed Ready-to-fly discus launch glider (#19) brings forward a refurbished version II wing and pairs it with a refurbished v.I fuselage & tails. Very lightweight, this is very close to the original LightSpeed in character, with an all-up weight well under 9 oz.
The wing incorporates RDS (rotary drive system) control for zero drag, fully-embedded flaperon control. Comes with a full flying stabilator on a Drela-style, low drag V-mount. Tail control is stainless steel wire in bondable teflon housing.
Comes with a brand new multi-weight ballast kit.
This glider is fully RTF, ready for you to add your own receiver. From this point you bench program and balance, perform range checks, and then begin flying with your first gentle javelin throws. After refining all trims, you can have at it with the exciting play of discus launching!
